With the cancellation of Event 3, everyone was coming back from a bit of a break. The fourth event of the CSCS Championship was at held at Granbend Raceway.
Having worked through our previous issues on the E46 M3, Scott was suited and ready to hit the track. Coming back from the first Qualifying round, much to our displeasure, we noticed some overheating issues. Quick troubleshooting revealed our automatic fan relay had failed!
Thanks to some wire splicing and a much appreciated toggle switch from our friends at CanJam, we managed to setup a bypass switch and had the fan running.

Scott & Farshad Troubleshooting
Farshad was out in the R32 Skyline GTR setting some decent qualifying times. The competition was tough and the Street AWD (SAWD) competitors were swapping grid positions as the day progressed. The Skyline GTR managed to get into the first qualifying group, but qualified at the back of the grid.

With the issues resolved, Scott set an excellent pace in qualifying and was one of the fastest cars of the day! During the Time Attack there was no more Drama and the car performed excellent.
Setting an Official Time of 1:09.722 Scott was the 5th fastest time of the day. An amazing drive and finally a well-deserved finish at the top of the Podium for the E46 M3 and Scott!

Getting out there during the Time Attack, Farshad set a blistering first lap, but unfortunately backed out on Laps 2 and 3 due to Yellow Flags being waved and being cautious, since he was not being able to lock in on the reason for the flags. Coming off the track, we were unsure if the first lap was going to be enough for a podium finish as the second SAWD group had yet to head out for their timed session.
Both drivers finish on the Podium @ CSCS Round 4
With an Official time of 1:13.966 the Skyline GTR and Farshad secured a 3rd place finish in SAWD. A tough battle and a decent finish.
Both drivers finished on the podium and we can't wait to do it again at CSCS Season Finale at Toronto Motorsports Park.
Congratulation to Farshad, Scott and the other class winners and look out for us at the CSCS Season Finale!
