The final CSCS event of the season at the popular Toronto Motorsports Park, started off as a great day, and we decided to skip the first Qualifying session in order to get a few more checks on the cars before heading out, but unfortunately mother nature did not cooperate and a torrential downpour followed that lasted for some time and the track was soaked. Having lost a qualifying session and having not set a time in the E46 M3 or the R32 Skyline GTR on a dry track, we were in trouble.
The track began to dry out but unfortunately not soon enough. On the last session we had a brake issue which led us to abandon the track in the last qualifying session leading to a non-qualifying time for the R32 Skyline GTR.

However Scott managed to get a few good runs in and qualified in the Super Street RWD Class. Scott was tied in points for the lead in the overall CSCS SSR Championship and needed to win this race or finish ahead to win the Championship.

Scott managed to fight his way to a second place finish, a little off his best time, setting an official time of 1:17.680, but good enough to stay ahead in the points!
A tough battle but well fought and an overall CSCS SSR Championship win for Scott & the E46 M3, Well Done!
Congratulation to Scott and Farshad and all the other competitors on a great season!
We are looking forward to some class changes due for next year.
