The CSCS Season Finale was held at the popular Toronto Motorsports Park on September 20th.

This was the last competition of the season for Scott and the E46 M3. The entire season had come down to this one last event. Scott was trailing in second place by only 10 points and being tied for the number of first place wins thus far. This meant that Scott finishing 1st place and Riaan in the Z06 finishing second would mean they would still be tied for points, however Scott's win would put him 3-2 for wins and therefore winner of the overall Champion - he had to finish 1st to finish 1st overall!
There was lots of competition out for the season finale, and the day was going fairly well, but tough being under-powered on a horsepower track. As the day progressed it became tougher to set reasonable qualifying times and it wasn't looking good for Scott.
Heading out for Time Attack the E46 M3 set an official time of 1:19.040 which was not enough.

This was only the second CSCS event for Farshad in the R32 Skyline GTR. Farshad was coming into this competition being quite competitive with the top 5 competitors being within a second of each other. The day started off well, with the times improving as the day progressed. It was all good until the turbo discharge pipe developed a leak (again! - remember Shannonville). With some help from Mike and a mechanically inclined passerby the leak was taped up giving us hope for the competition.
Qualifying in 3rd place with the fastest time in the R32 Skyline GTR of 1:21.6xx. Farshad set out for the Time Attack laps, on the last corner before the front straight, the turbo discharge pipe gave way, having enough momentum to pull off the track, that was the end of our day and the season.

Overall it was not the best day for the Team, but we did go out and set some great lap times this year.
Farshad finished 7th place in the CSCS and OTA Championships in the Street AWD and SGT3 Classes out of over 10 competitors. Not a great result, but not too bad considering he only competed in two events in each series.
Scott finished 2nd place in the Overall CSCS Championship in the Super Street RWD Class out of 15 competitors.
Congratulation to Scott and Farshad and all the other competitors on a great season!
Stay tuned for some 'big' surprises next year!
